This Privacy Statement details how AI VOD Coach collects, processes, and protects your gameplay data and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We comply with modern privacy protection standards.
1. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Collected
To provide gameplay coaching services, we collect only the necessary PII required for authorization and AI pipeline execution:
Email Address: Collected during sign-up to authenticate account identity, manage subscription billing logs, and transmit report notifications.
Username (including Call of Duty Username): Collected to identify your profile card in discover feeds, team rosters, and competition brackets.
Account Credentials: Passwords are secured immediately using cryptographically salted password-hashing processes (`bcrypt`). We never store plain-text passwords.
Gameplay VOD Files (Video Recordings): Videos you upload are processed by our background AI vision parser. Frames are extracted to scan for OCR medals, killfeed counts, crosshair placement height ratios, and player deaths.
2. How Your Gameplay Data is Shared & Managed
By default, all uploaded VODs and compiled AI coaching reports are strictly **private** and accessible only by you when signed in to your account.
We provide explicit sharing controls to manage community visibility:
Shared to Discover Feed: If you toggle the "Share to Discover Feed" switch during upload or click "Make Public" on a match, the clip, comment threads, and the AI coaching grade are made visible to other registered users of the platform.
Team/Teammate Invites: Roster recruits on your competitive squad can view your public grade metrics and team badge links.
3. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We respect your right to hold control over your digital footprint. Inside your **Account Settings** page, we expose a **Delete Account** function. Triggering this deletes:
Your username, email address, and billing logs.
All historical matches, videos, OCR event frames, and comments.
Raw gameplay video files from our secure Cloudflare R2 cloud storage buckets.
4. Third-Party Service Integrations
We rely on secure cloud service providers to power specific mechanics:
Cloudflare R2: Used for secure direct client-to-cloud file storage via SigV4 pre-signed links.
Supabase PostgreSQL: Houses account credentials and gameplay event coordinates securely.
Google Cloud Run: Executes the background Vision AI pipeline.
